New York City children will join a host of cartoon characters, including Miffy, Curious George®, and Teddy Roosevelt, at a special Halloween preview. Assisted by their big-pawed friends and Teddy Roosevelt, the kids will make spooky origami, creepy crafts, and, of course, scoop up lots of candy.

This event is a preview of the fun to be had at the Museum’s 13th annual Halloween Celebration on Friday, October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. All four floors of the Museum will open for trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, activities, and entertainment. The celebration features live performances by David Grover and the Big Bear Band, Louie & Subanda, the Big Nazo puppet troupe, stiltwalkers, master pumpkin carver Hugh McMahon, and Big Apple Circus, Circus to Go! Clown. Those who need a rest from the festivities can purchase a special Monster Meal package
